A Living Heritage Company

POTERIE RAVELA Living Heritage Company

A brief history of the Ravel Pottery

Created in 1837, the Ravel Pottery is one of the oldest ceramics manufacturers in France.

For five generations at Aubagne, in the heart of Provence, this family company has built up a rare and authentic expertise.  From the manufacture of the clay to the moulding or throwing, the entire chain of production is controlled on the spot. The workshops produce pots ranging from 10cm to 1 metre, tableware, jugs, tian dishes and other decorative terracotta items.

Their style, their form and their thickness mean that Ravel pots lend themselves to the decoration of gardens, squares, terraces and interior spaces.

Their finish as well as their firing gives them an incomparable quality, colour and feel.
