CHATEAU VIRANT

Château Virant is a wine and olive property situated in the heart of the Provencal countryside.
The name Virant originally comes from the Virant rock which looks down upon the 201 hectares of vineyards and 42 hectares of olive groves and gains the guaranteed vintage of Aix en Provence.

The winery, built in 1632, consists of an underground section and a central part built in 1897.

The building that houses the bottling halls and the oil mill was built in 1996 in compliance with the original architecture.

Added to that, a barn has been turned into a reception hall.
An authentic site nested in a majestic environment
Today, Château Virant employs 45 people throughout the year and up to 30 additional people to harvest the olives.

The plant and machinery for the production of wines and olive oils are at the forefront of modern technology.
Customers are welcome to Chateau Virant : they can visit the facilities (cellar and olive oil mill), enjoy the entire range, wander the vineyards and olive groves.

It is a journey that can take you down to the roots of the Cheylan’s family passion and understand their commitment to modern Agriculture.

The cellar and the oil mill are open from Mondays to Sundays all year round.
